About

Vy Le

Corporate, immigration and family lawyer in Ho Chi Minh City, working in English with foreign founders, investors and residents.

Most of my clients arrive having already been given three different answers to the same question. My job is to give one answer, explain how I got there, and then do the work — dealing with the departments so they can get on with running a business or raising a family.

For the expat community here, that also means being the lawyer you can simply call — someone local who will take the question in English, whether it is a company licence or a landlord refusing to return a deposit.

How I work

Plain answers, written scope, no surprises on the invoice.

One answer, not three

I tell you what the law requires, what the authority handling your file actually does in practice, and where the two differ.

Everything in English, in writing

Advice, filings and updates come in English. Vietnamese documents are explained before you sign them, not after.

Fees agreed before the work starts

Fixed fee wherever the scope allows, with government and other external charges included, not billed on top.

Renewals tracked, not forgotten

Permits, cards and licences come with the expiry dates diarised, so nothing lapses quietly.

Next step

Fifteen minutes will tell you whether you need a lawyer at all.

The call is free, in English or Vietnamese, and there is no obligation afterwards.
